A Holy Week that can Change Your Life

Church, we are heading into a very powerful week, Holy Week. During this week we will be following Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. As he had the last supper with his disciples. He was arrested, beaten, and put on the cross. As Jesus died, and as he resurrected. This week changed the world for good. This week is the foundation of what we believe and the reason why we worship. This is the week that many people might come to church that usually won’t.

Here are the different services we have:

Palm Sunday Service, March 24th at 10:10am.

At this service we will focus on the triumphal entry when Jesus rode into Jerusalem. We will sing songs about “Hosanna” and wave palm branches in the air just like they did with Jesus. We will have a message on the 2nd to last words of Jesus on the cross “It Is Finished” as we focus on Jesus riding into Jerusalem on that day knowing that he was going to die there.

Good Friday Service, March 29th at 6:30pm.

This service we will take you through the last day of Jesus starting with the Last Supper and having communion together. Then we will take you to the cross and focus on the last word Jesus spoke “Into your hands I commit my Spirit”. Before we celebrate the resurrection, we need to go through the death and focus on our sins that Jesus died for.

Easter Resurrection Service, March 31st at 8:10 & 10:10am.

On Easter Sunday we will have two services for you to choose from, both services will be identical. During this service we will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus and what His resurrection means for us. There will be a continental breakfast served in between the services.

Here’s what you can do, Pray and Invite. Pray for these services, pray that hearts will be changed. Invite your friends and family to join you. We have informational cards that you can grab to help you invite your friends and we have an event on Facebook that you can post and send to your friends. It is our goal to have 150 people on Easter Sunday. When you bring a friend to church during this time, you are allowing them to experience the empty tomb and a Risen Savior, which can change their life!!!
