Thank You

The final financial report for 2023 is in, and we’re in a good place as we begin 2024.

Can you remember? It was just over a year ago that our new church home first came on the market. Even that was already an answer to prayer. Behind the scenes, things were moving about buying and selling buildings. Our leaders sacrificed their time and gave of their expertise.

The church as a whole met and prayed about it often.

A good portion of our income last year came from renting our former building to Central Christian Church and later selling it. So, without that help, we are totally responsible for financing our ministries now.

On the other hand, we don’t owe any money on the Highland Avenue building.

Now our offerings can focus more on our ministries and not on a mortgage.

Nobody can calculate all the volunteer hours donated last summer and fall to get our building up to code. Thank you.

More proof? When we look at the finances for the final three months of 2023, we see how faithful the congregation is.

As we moved into our new building, our income has been steady and exceeded our expenses. We finished the year strong. We have a cushion in each account to begin the new year. Thank you.

Our finances are always transparent and available. Check the web site, ask treasurer Stephen Coakley, or ask any Board of Administration member. One last thing: thank you.
